Exploring Mindful Play and Creativity in Everyday Life
Hi everyone!
Lately, I’ve been thinking about ways we can train focus, patience, and even creativity in small, everyday ways. Beyond traditional meditation or ritual practices, I’ve found that certain types of games can be surprisingly meditative and help sharpen the mind. They encourage strategy, patience, and problem solving, all of which can translate into more clarity in our magical or spiritual work.
For example, I recently stumbled upon a site with a variety of casual and multiplayer games, where you can explore different challenges and engage in fun problem solving exercises: https://onga.io/. It’s a nice way to give your mind a break while still keeping it engaged and alert, which I’ve found complements my more esoteric practices nicely.
I’d love to hear if anyone else uses games or other seemingly mundane activities as a way to practice focus, patience, or creativity in your spiritual journey. Any favorites?
